Meet Captain Patrick Dennehy
Meet Captain Pat, Captain Matt, and deck boss Matt and F/V Tontine
Captain Patrick has been operating in the northern atlantic for over 40 years. He has worked on charter and party boats since he was a teenager. Since his time as a deckhand he has owned and operated several vessels including the F/V Tontine, which he has owned for 31 years to date. He has fished for groundfish, bluefin tuna, striped bass and more in his over 40 years of experience on the ocean.
Captain Matt has also been working on charter and party boats since he was a teenager and is entering his 17th season working on the ocean. He has also fished for most species the northern atlantic has to offer including groundfish, bluefin tuna, and striped bass. Fishing is captain Matt's full time profession and he is the primary captain aboard the F/V Tontine.
Our current deck boss position belongs to Matt the mate who is on his 13th year working on the ocean. He provides the best quality service you can hope to find in a deckhand!
All of our crew are coast guard certified and enrolled in a random drug testing program. They will provide you with the best experience possible on the ocean. As well as captains and crew, they have also been customers on boats and know the type of service one would expect to see on a day out on the water. We are very passionate about bringing this same exciting experience to everyone that comes aboard with us!
Our charters focus on deep sea fishing trips catching Cod, Haddock, Pollock and Striped Bass.
as the Atlantic Ocean provides you with a wide expanse of fishing opportunities in the area. His expertise is in deep sea and bottom fishing, and he will be eager to share with you his techniques in fishing.
When not in the waters, you may usually catch him on the docks, “sitting pretty, waiting to bring you to his work”. Pay a visit to his exciting office and give him a call to know more about what he’s talking about.
The thrill of bringing you to the middle of the ocean to catch and chase some species is what keeps him going! Catch this adrenaline and excitement as you come aboard for a fun fishing experience with Tontine Fishing Charters and Captain Patrick!
